Yumm yummm Yumm found this place with my friend on a hungry day and boy we were happy! We shared the chicken sandwich, wings, burger and some delicious desert. This place hit the spot! Yallas has been owned since 1967 and was created by the family to honor the dream and legacy of Grandpa Yella. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile from the staff and the atmosphere feels cozy as you are surrounded by grandpa Yella’s family photographs on the wall. Now let’s talk about the FOOD! The menu is not like a typical take out place, it offers amazing options from sandwiches, deli classics, hot subs, chicken sandwiches, burgers, small bites which include out of this world wings and wait for it HAND-SPUN SHAKES!!! In addition they offer a catering menu which is perfect for corporate meetings, birthday and family gatherings! I cant wait to order some platters myself for the next Super Bowl party! What I found unique and cool are the different flavor options of the fountain drinks, they are all made with pure cane sugar. Some of the flavors include Root beer, black cherry, lemonade, orange etc.. Lastly I need to highlight the legendary strawberry shortcake HAND -SPUN shake. The size is generous, and you can easily share it with 2 people. I have no words to describe the explosion of flavors and satisfying sweet taste! You wont regret trying it! these milkshakes are sure to hit the spot. I had an amazing experience, delicious food! An absolute must in New Jersey! highly recommend !
Delivery Order: Ordered a The Yella Submarine along with Onion Rings, and they were pretty good. They have a wide range of Sandwiches and Subs to choose from, and very yummy looking Shakes. Would definitely like to order again and try some of the other options.
The hubs has been itching to try this place for a while and today we finally got a chance. Place was clean and the decor was very cute. The burgers, fries, shakes, and chicken tenders were delicious! I cannot say enough about the service as well. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! Make sure you visit if you ever find yourself in Hawthorne.
Just went to Yellas today - it’s fantastic!!! We got chicken tenders and fries, onion rings, the Rochester, the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, cheeseburger, and fries. Finished off with the Birthday Cake Milk Shake!!! Super fresh - out of control good! We just keep talking about how good the chicken tenders are - yes a mundane item - but for some reason these and the onion rings and sandwiches are next level.
Literally the best jersey Smashburger will ever have in your life! And then Nashville, hot chicken sandwich that’s actually hot. I’m totally there! And get yourself an amazing milkshake maybe one with a cannoli or a chocolate brownie to wash it all down you will not be disappointed... right in Hawthorne
The food was spectacular, I wanted to slap someone it was so good. Don’t ponder about coming here. Just come here. It’s worth every single dollar. I had the chicken sandwich and my husband had the Yella burger. Everything wasn’t greasy. It was all seasoned to perfection. It was so good, my husband exclaimed, “This is ridiculous!” And couldn’t stop taking bite after bite. We got 1 order of fries as well and it fed two people! The fries were salted and seasoned wonderfully and no grease!! We also ordered a vanilla shake! It was amazing!! Their chocolate chip cookies are so dang delicious that I don’t want to go to Insomnia Cookies anymore. Five Guys, step aside because this one is a winner.
I got the torpedo sandwich, and it was so good! My husband got the burger with the loaded fries. He loved it! Very nice and clean place. Service was really good and not overpriced! We will be getting one of their milkshakes next time!
